Female Figures

The female nude has been the inspiration for artwork since ancient times. I try to show the solidity and complexity of the nude figure while using dramatic, lyrical color. I have painted many portraits over the years. Although I haven't done portraits recently in oil, I am still challenged by the psychological aspects of portraiture.
